Matt was born and raised in St. Johnsbury, and no matter where life took him, the Northeast Kingdom remained home. He earned a business degree in Burlington and a BFA in photography in Montreal, experiences that taught him to see both the big picture and the small details, a perspective he brings to everything he does. Matt was born and raised in St. Johnsbury, and no matter where life took him, the Northeast Kingdom remained home. He earned a business degree in Burlington and a BFA in photography in Montreal, experiences that taught him to see both the big picture and the small details, a perspective he brings to everything he does. In the years that followed, he made a point of finding and fostering community wherever he lived. In 2023, he brought that experience home to Vermont, ready to put down roots.

Since returning, Matt has stayed involved locally. He ran a small business in Hardwick that introduced him to neighboring businesses and locals alike; these connections now inform his work in real estate. When he’s not working, you’ll find him in Hardwick with his husband and their Great Dane, hiking and photographing the landscapes that make this corner of Vermont so special.
